Air Travel
Terminal 1 serves full-service airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, Asiana Airlines, etc.
Terminal 2 serves budget airlines such as AirAsia, SilkAir and Cebu Pacific.
Travel to Ranau
Shuttle by Organisers
A shuttle service will be provided to all runners at a nominal fee from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau on the day of the race. You can book a place on the shuttle service through the registration website. First come first served basis.
Car
Ranau is accessible by road and is approximately 2 hours by car from Kota Kinabalu
Bus
Several bus companies provide tranport from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau.
Accommodation at Ranau
An assortment of accommodation options exist between Mount Kinabalu Park turn off and the township of Ranau, mostly situated on the main road.Alternatively, you can book accomodations at the Sabah Tea Plantation.
Sabah Tea Plantation is our official hotel for the Ranauthlon.14 and their rates for all participants at the Tea Plantation as follows :
Per cottage room : (Triple Sharing : 1 queen sized + 1 single) : RM180
Per long house room : (Triple sharing : 3 singles) : RM 100
Own Tent (camping) : RM5 / pax
Prices are for rooms only and subjected to 10% service charge and on a first come first served basis)
